"There are 783 million hungry people in the world. But hunger is entirely solvable. Every day, people around the world are sharing their meal, and the United Nations World Food Programme is on the frontlines ensuring it reaches those most in need. Imagine the collective impact we could have if we all shared the meal."

Since its launch, ShareTheMeal has provided vital food assistance in over 100 countries, targeting some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. In Africa, the program has supported emergency relief in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Sudan, and Nigeria, while also helping build long-term resilience through agricultural initiatives in Rwanda, Zambia, and Egypt. Across the Middle East, ShareTheMeal has delivered meals to those affected by conflict in Yemen, Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon, as well as supporting refugees in Jordan. In response to the war in Ukraine, the app has helped distribute millions of meals both within the country and to refugees in neighboring nations like Moldova and Romania. In Asia, it has supported Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh and families in crisis-hit Afghanistan and Pakistan. The program has also extended its reach to Latin America, offering aid to communities in Peru, Colombia, and Venezuela. These efforts combine emergency relief with long-term support, ensuring that donations go toward both immediate hunger needs and sustainable solutions.
